What should I look for when buying a used 2015 INFINITI QX60?

At 55.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on bodywork quality, alignment, and signs of wear that could point to harder use or incomplete repairs. It also makes sense to prioritize overall condition, since the best examples will stand out more clearly in a market where accident history is common.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base model’s audio setup lacks essential features like Bluetooth, while higher equipment levels add more comfort, convenience, and infotainment content. The Deluxe Touring Package brings bigger wheels, a premium Surround Sound audio system, an air-purifying climate control system, a dual-panel sunroof, ventilated front seats, and heated rear seats.
• Powertrain: You get a 3.5-liter V6 with a continuously variable transmission and 265 horsepower. The engine is described as refined and smooth-revving, and the CVT gains Enhanced D-Step Logic to feel more like a traditional automatic under hard acceleration.
• Safety package: The Technology Package adds a full suite of safety systems designed to prevent collisions. Standard stability control is included, and the available driver-assistance setup can include Distance Control Assist, Blind Spot Intervention, and Lane Departure Prevention.
• Infotainment: The QX60 does not offer Wi-Fi Internet access, rear-seat USB ports, or a 110-volt outlet. Infiniti InTouch Apps, Bluetooth streaming audio, voice recognition, hard-drive navigation, and a premium sound system are available with the right package combination.
• Fuel efficiency: The expert test drive returned 18.9 mpg, and the official estimate cited in the review is 23 mpg in combined driving.

Should I buy a 2015 INFINITI QX60 or consider a different year?

Choose the 2015 if:

• 29.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 55.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.20% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2015 model stands out for its style, simplicity, and the successful integration of useful infotainment and safety technologies.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of current pricing, broad inventory, and a well-liked ownership experience, the 2015 is the smart place to start. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can still shop carefully and target the cleanest, best-maintained examples, but the 2015 already gives you a favorable balance of value and equipment.
