Why it stands out
The 2014 Toyota 4Runner remains a strong contender in the SUV market, showcasing the benefits of traditional design in an age dominated by crossovers. It boasts a powerful 4.0-liter V6 engine that produces 270 horsepower and offers solid towing capabilities, making it versatile for both terrain and daily driving. Its rugged build is not only functional but gives it a distinctive presence compared to competitors that lean towards more modern designs. The spacious interior is designed for practicality, with up to 89.7 cubic feet of cargo space, making it suitable for outdoor adventures or family trips.
While the 4Runner excels in off-road capability—with features like crawl control and enhanced suspension for rugged terrain—it also presents some limitations in ride quality on standard roads, especially in the Trail trim which favors off-road performance. With a strong following and impressive resale value, the 4Runner is appealing to those who value durability, adventure, and functionality in their vehicle.

I love this car, i've just decided i need something a little smaller for my family. We had plenty of space on our family vacation and got great gas mileage on the highway (24MPG). Only thing i wish it had was a power lift gate.

It’s a comfortable vehicle. I like all the features it comes with. It rides smoothly. I’m so happy with the heated seats. I don’t care for the moonroof but it wasn’t a feature that made me not want to buy this model.

Strong and secure car, quality of metals is a bit mid low range due to the car getting rust really easy, something that needs improved but seems not to be an urgency for the people at TOYOTA.
