How much does the 2014 Subaru Crosstrek cost?

Prices have softened 3.33% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,011 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2014 Subaru Crosstrek a good car?

Generally — the 4.2/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its comfort, snow performance, and user-friendly features like navigation and AWD. It also fits well if you want a small crossover that is easy to live with for road trips and urban driving. With 32.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Subaru Crosstrek reliable?

Owners rate it 4.2/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, especially those who value its all-weather capability and practical day-to-day use. That said, you should still pay close attention to maintenance history and title status, since long-term ownership risk rises when a used example has been poorly maintained or has prior damage.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Subaru Crosstrek?

At 61.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, and you should prioritize any signs of prior collision repair or title issues. A pre-purchase inspection is worth it, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on overall condition, since the best buy is usually the one with clean history, consistent maintenance, and no signs of hidden damage.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Subaru Crosstrek?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find value.

• Deal availability: 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,011 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.33% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 61.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,237, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Subaru Crosstrek's resale value?

The current average of $10,336 sits slightly below last year's $10,692.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more favorable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price carefully to stay competitive. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can help protect your resale position. Listings with clean history and strong owner satisfaction tend to draw steadier interest when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.33% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2014 is a sensible choice if you want the Crosstrek’s practical size, snow-friendly traction, and current market pricing without stretching for a newer model. If you are especially price-sensitive, this year can make sense as long as you verify history carefully and inspect condition closely. If you want more convenience features and a cleaner set of updates, a nearby newer year may be worth considering.
