Used 2014 Nissan Pathfinder for Sale nearPortland, OR

How much does the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder cost?

Prices have softened 10.07% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 609 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder a good car?

Generally — the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder earns a 4/5 user rating, which points to solid owner satisfaction. Owners commonly praise its spacious interior, powerful performance, and family-friendly usefulness, and the three-row layout makes it especially appealing if you need everyday versatility. The main tradeoff in owner feedback is the CVT transmission concern, so it fits best if you value cabin space and practical utility and are willing to shop carefully. With 28.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you compare listings closely.

Is the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback repeatedly points to reliability concerns tied to the CVT transmission, even as many drivers describe the SUV as dependable for travel and family use. The positive side of the ownership story is that many owners still value its comfort and usefulness over time, but the transmission issue remains the key caution for used buyers. For long-term ownership, that means your risk is less about the platform’s everyday practicality and more about making sure the specific vehicle you choose has been maintained carefully.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Nissan Pathfinder?

At 52.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

Start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and maintenance patterns before you commit. Then prioritize a thorough inspection, with extra attention to the transmission behavior, since owner feedback highlights CVT concerns. You should also focus on overall condition inside and out, because cosmetic wear and signs of deferred maintenance can help you separate the better examples from the rest.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Nissan Pathfinder?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 28.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 609 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.07% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 52.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $7,871, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $7,871 sits slightly below last year's $8,752.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future buyers but may limit upside for a seller. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned to preserve value than someone who pays near the top of the range. Demand should remain tied to the Pathfinder’s family-friendly space and utility, but transmission concerns can weigh on resale confidence if the vehicle’s history is unclear.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 28.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 52.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.07% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2014 Pathfinder makes sense if you want a roomy three-row SUV and you’re focused on value, especially since prices have eased and there are still plenty of listings to compare. If you’re more price-sensitive, you can also use nearby model years as leverage, but the 2014 is the better fit when you want a balance of affordability, space, and broad availability.
