How much does the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder cost?

Prices have softened 11.68% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 6,167 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder a good car?

Yes — the 4.8/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2024 Pathfinder is positioned as a family-focused midsize SUV with a spacious cabin, standard seating for eight, and EZ Flex seating that makes third-row access easier than usual, even with a car seat installed. It also emphasizes everyday comfort, a modern feature set, and useful capability, including available all-wheel drive and strong towing capacity.

For you, that means this model year makes the most sense if you want a three-row SUV that balances comfort, space, and practical utility rather than chasing the most aggressive off-road or performance credentials. 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Pathfinder’s reliability case is supported by its familiar current-generation formula, including a 3.5-liter V6, a nine-speed transmission, and available all-wheel drive. The overview also points to a comfortable ride and a well-equipped cabin, which are the kinds of traits that usually matter most in day-to-day ownership.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the vehicle has been maintained well enough to preserve that comfort-and-capability balance over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Nissan Pathfinder?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the listing matches the seller’s claims about mileage, ownership, and service records. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the drivetrain, brakes, tires, and interior wear, especially if you plan to use the Pathfinder for family hauling or towing. Focus on overall condition and maintenance consistency, since those factors matter more than cosmetic appeal on a used three-row SUV.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Pathfinder?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,167 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.68% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $30,451, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $30,451 sits slightly below last year's $34,479.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that value retention will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped and maintained. A well-kept Pathfinder should still appeal to family buyers looking for space and capability.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.68% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $29,589, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $30,451 average.
• It adds the Rock Creek edition for a tougher-looking option.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $32,651, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $30,451 average.
• It leans into value, practicality, and everyday usability.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around pick if you want the current-year balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the better value play, while the 2025 makes sense if you want to spend more for a newer model-year alternative.
