How much does the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder cost?

Prices have softened 9.92% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 640 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder a good car?

Generally — the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder earns a 4/5 user rating, which points to solid owner satisfaction overall. Owners commonly praise its spacious interior, powerful performance, and useful features, and it fits especially well if you want a family-focused three-row SUV with everyday versatility. The main tradeoff is that some owners report transmission concerns, so it makes the most sense if you value room and comfort and are willing to shop carefully. With 31.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to be selective.

Is the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback repeatedly points to a dependable family hauler when it’s been maintained well, with owners highlighting comfortable travel, strong everyday usability, and a vehicle they can count on for regular use. At the same time, the recurring transmission concerns in owner feedback mean long-term ownership risk is tied closely to how well the CVT has been cared for.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Nissan Pathfinder?

At 52% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether the Pathfinder has any accident or title issues before you go further. A thorough pre-purchase inspection should focus on the transmission’s behavior, especially during acceleration and at low speeds, since condition and maintenance history matter a lot here. It also helps to prioritize overall mechanical condition and service records over cosmetic appeal.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Nissan Pathfinder?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and focused on condition.

• Deal availability: 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 640 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.92% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 52.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $8,026, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $8,026 sits slightly below last year's $8,910.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can make the Pathfinder easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For future sellers, a lower entry price can help attract budget-conscious shoppers, but condition and maintenance history will matter even more when buyers compare similar listings. A well-kept example should still hold more appeal than one with questionable service records or visible wear.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 52% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.92% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a roomy, family-oriented three-row SUV and you find a well-maintained 2014 Pathfinder with clean records, it can be a smart buy. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare it with nearby model years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the cheapest one, since condition and transmission history matter so much here.
