Used 2014 Nissan Murano for Sale nearDetroit, MI

How much does the 2014 Nissan Murano cost?

Prices have softened 10.80% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 642 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2014 Nissan Murano a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Nissan Murano earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners commonly praise its reliability, comfort, and value for money, and many also highlight the smooth ride and good handling. That makes it a solid fit if you want a midsize SUV that leans more toward comfort and everyday usability than outright utility. With 33.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback emphasizes reliability, and it also describes the Murano as dependable and trouble-free in everyday use. That kind of reputation matters if you want a used SUV you can count on for long-term ownership. For used buyers, the main risk is making sure the specific vehicle’s condition matches that reputation, especially given the age of the model year.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Nissan Murano?

At 59.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, since accident history can affect both condition and resale value. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the vehicle drives as smoothly as the listing suggests. It also makes sense to pay close attention to overall maintenance and wear, since those details matter more on an older used SUV.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Nissan Murano?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best examples.

• Deal availability: 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 642 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.80% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 59.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $7,437, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $7,481 sits slightly below last year's $8,386.

That price movement suggests the Murano has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help limit how much value it loses from here compared with a newer vehicle. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned when it comes time to sell. The market also appears to reward models with strong owner satisfaction, which can help sustain demand.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 59.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.80% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2014 if you want the lower-priced option and are willing to shop carefully for condition and history. If you’re more price-sensitive and want the best chance at a bargain, this year can make sense as long as you prioritize clean records and a thorough inspection.
