Used 2014 Lexus GX for Sale near Kansas

How much does the 2014 Lexus GX cost?

Prices have softened 1.86% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 293 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2014 Lexus GX a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Lexus GX earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its outstanding performance, stability, and luxury features, and many call out the value of the V8 engine and all-wheel drive capability. For you, that makes it a compelling choice if you want a luxury SUV that still leans into rugged capability and everyday comfort. With 32.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is also a meaningful share of market-friendly pricing to consider.

Is the 2014 Lexus GX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to dependable, trouble-free ownership, with praise centered on the GX’s durability and the confidence it inspires over time. That said, you should still expect the usual used-luxury-SUV ownership risks, so a careful pre-purchase inspection matters if you want to protect yourself from expensive surprises.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Lexus GX?

At 53.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Then prioritize a thorough inspection of the body, frame, suspension, and interior condition, since this model’s rugged use case can mean more wear than you might expect. It also helps to focus on how well the cabin electronics and seating surfaces have held up, because those details can separate a clean example from one that has been heavily used.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Lexus GX?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting deep bargain-bin pricing.

• Deal availability: 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 293 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.86% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 53.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,677, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Lexus GX's resale value?

The current average of $20,965 sits slightly below last year's $21,363.

That softer pricing suggests the GX has become a bit more buyer-friendly in the near term, which can limit upside if you plan to resell soon. On the other hand, the current market still shows steady demand for a well-regarded luxury SUV with strong capability, so a clean, well-kept example should remain easier to move than a neglected one. If you buy carefully and keep maintenance records, you give yourself a better shot at preserving value when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Lexus GX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.86% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2014 if you want the GX’s rugged luxury formula and you find a clean example with solid records. If you are especially price-sensitive, nearby model years may still be worth comparing, but the 2014 already offers a favorable mix of owner satisfaction, market availability, and softened pricing.
