How much does the 2014 INFINITI Q50 cost?

Prices have softened 1.77% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 298 listings available, which suggests you have a workable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2014 INFINITI Q50 a good car?

Yes — the 2014 INFINITI Q50 earns a 4.8/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its sporty performance, precise handling, and elegant interior design. The overview also frames it as a luxury sedan that blends aggressive styling with strong tech appeal, which fits shoppers who want a performance-oriented daily driver with upscale features. 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 INFINITI Q50 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a great-value luxury car that feels sporty, offers a range of features, and delivers a powerful engine with precise handling. The expert summary also describes it as a competent luxury sedan with the looks, tech, and performance to excite. Infiniti’s tech-heavy approach and strong powertrain help the car feel substantial, but used buyers should still watch for repair-cost exposure and verify how well the car has been maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 INFINITI Q50?

At 40.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle-history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. A pre-purchase inspection matters here, especially if you’re comparing cars with similar prices but very different condition histories. Focus on signs of wear in the cabin, electronics, and ride quality so you can separate a clean, well-kept example from one that may need near-term work.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base model includes Bluetooth phone connectivity, dual digital control panels, an intelligent key system, satellite radio, and a reversing camera, while the Premium trim adds heated front seats, a power moonroof, and a 14-speaker premium stereo. The S trims add a sport-tuned suspension, sport bucket seats, sport brakes, and other go-fast bits.
• Powertrain: The 3.7-liter V6 makes 328 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive. The performance focus is part of the car’s appeal, and the engine is described as high-revving.
• Safety package: The car includes a predictive crash-warning system, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, frontal crash-prevention sensors, an overhead parking camera system, and rear cross-path warning.
• Infotainment: The Q50 uses dual touchscreens, with the top screen dedicated mainly to navigation and the lower screen handling audio and climate controls. A dedicated control knob sits near the shifter, though the system is described as having some hiccups.
• Fuel efficiency: The AWD model is listed at 19 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined.

Which 2014 INFINITI Q50 trim should I buy?

The 2014 INFINITI Q50 is offered in 4 trim levels: Base, Premium, Q50S, and Q50S AWD.

Here's the short version:

• Base: This is the value play if you want the Q50’s core luxury and tech features without paying for extras. You still get Bluetooth, dual digital control panels, an intelligent key system, satellite radio, and a reversing camera, so it covers the essentials well.
• Premium: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds heated front seats, a power moonroof, and a 14-speaker premium stereo. If you want a more upscale daily driver without jumping to the sportier models, this is the trim to target.
• Q50S: Choose this if you want the sportier setup, since it adds a sport-tuned suspension, sport bucket seats, sport brakes, and other performance-oriented hardware. It suits you best if handling and driving feel matter more than comfort-first equipment.
• Q50S AWD: This is the pick if you want the sport trim’s character with all-wheel-drive traction. It makes sense if you live where weather or road conditions make AWD worth the added cost.

The safety content highlights advanced driver-assistance features, so even lower trims benefit from the Q50’s strong safety-tech focus.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 INFINITI Q50?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 298 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.77% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 40.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,207, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 INFINITI Q50's resale value?

The current average of $11,517 sits slightly below last year's $11,724.

That decline suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may temper what you recover later. If you plan to sell in the future, the softer trend means your return will depend heavily on mileage, condition, and maintenance history. Well-kept examples should still hold appeal because the Q50’s mix of performance and tech gives it a clear identity in the used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2014 INFINITI Q50 safe?

The 2014 INFINITI Q50 earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

It comes with a predictive crash-warning system that can sense trouble ahead, plus blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, frontal crash-prevention sensors, an overhead parking camera system, and rear cross-path warning. That gives you a strong safety-tech package for the class, especially if you value driver assistance and parking visibility. The main caveat is that the car’s advanced electronics are a bigger part of the ownership experience, so condition and proper operation matter on a used example.

Should I buy a 2014 INFINITI Q50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 40.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.77% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It launches Infiniti’s new naming, styling, and tech direction in one aggressive luxury sedan.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $12,553, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $11,517 average.
• It offers wider personality range, from comfortable all-weather cruiser to fast sports sedan.

The bottom line: If you want the lower price and the fresh, tech-forward character of the redesign, the 2014 is the better buy. If you’re willing to spend more for a broader range of configurations and can live with the next year’s higher price, the 2015 is worth a look.

How does the 2014 INFINITI Q50 compare to the 2014 BMW 3 Series?

Our experts score the 2014 INFINITI Q50 8.5/10 and the 2014 BMW 3 Series 7.3/10.

The Q50 brings more power, more standard tech, and a stronger safety-tech story, while the 3 Series counters with better fuel economy and a lower average used price. If you want the more expressive luxury sedan with a richer feature set, the Q50 is the stronger pick. If your priority is efficiency and a lower entry cost, the BMW makes more sense.
