Why it stands out
The 2014 Honda Odyssey stands out in the minivan segment due to its exceptional blend of comfort, functionality, and safety features. Honda has perfected its recipe for family-hauling utility, making the Odyssey a top choice for parents and families. Its spacious cabin is engineered to accommodate both passengers and cargo, featuring 148.5 cubic feet of maximum storage space when the second-row seats are removed. The new 6-speed automatic transmission enhances fuel efficiency across all trims, promoting a commendable 19 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway driven by its capable 248-hp, 3.5-liter V6 engine.
Safety is another cornerstone of the Odyssey, having earned a Top Safety Pick + rating for its crashworthiness, with advanced features like LaneWatch and collision warning systems providing peace of mind for drivers. Reviews highlight the Odyssey's ability to maintain a smooth and quiet ride, surpassing expectations for a vehicle of this type. Even the handling is noted to feel more athletic compared to other minivans, appealing to buyers looking for more than just straightforward practicality.

I’ve been searching for an Odyssey since mine was totaled several months ago. When I test drove this one I immediately knew I would buy it. Nothing compares to the versatility and cargo room of a minivan. Road trips cross country are so fun in a van. Instant hotel on wheels.

The automatic doors are very nice, and allow for little children to easily handle their operation. The Hatchback is also motorized, but you have the option to manually open or close it. The Lane Departure and Front Collision warnings are great safety features. This car has some great rates on insurance as well. We get great gas mileage, and have tons of room to haul people or gear around.
