Used 2014 GMC Yukon for Sale near New Jersey

How much does the 2014 GMC Yukon cost?

Prices have softened 6.17% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 596 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2014 GMC Yukon a good car?

Generally — the 2014 GMC Yukon earns a 4.25/5 user rating, which points to solid overall appeal for shoppers who want a full-size SUV with a roomy cabin and a strong feature set. The overview highlights a more refined feel than many truck-based family haulers, plus a smarter interior, a better ride, improved handling, and useful standard equipment for the base trim. It also notes that the Yukon is a good fit if you value space, comfort, and utility in a three-row SUV. 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2014 GMC Yukon reliable?

Owners rate it 4.25/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also makes clear that this generation had a rocky start with engine and transmission issues, so reliability is not something you should assume from the badge alone. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk depends heavily on maintenance history and how carefully the SUV was driven and serviced.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 GMC Yukon?

At 56.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on the engine, transmission, and signs of uneven wear, since those areas matter most on a large SUV with known trouble spots. Pay close attention to overall condition, because a well-kept example is more likely to deliver the comfort and utility you want without surprise repair costs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 GMC Yukon?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 596 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.17% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 56.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,412, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 GMC Yukon's resale value?

The current average of $12,650 sits slightly below last year's $13,481.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. If you plan to sell later, the current trend implies you may not see strong short-term appreciation, so condition and maintenance will matter a lot when it comes time to resell. A well-kept Yukon should still appeal to shoppers who want a spacious, well-equipped full-size SUV at a relatively accessible price.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.25/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 GMC Yukon or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.17% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.25/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a roomy, well-equipped full-size SUV and you find a clean, well-documented example, the 2014 Yukon can make sense as the value play. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare it with nearby years and focus on the best-maintained listing rather than the cheapest one.
