Is the 2014 Ford F-350 Super Duty a good car?

Yes — with a 5/5 user rating, this truck lands strongly for shoppers who want a serious heavy-duty workhorse. The overview points to broad cab, bed, and powertrain flexibility, plus a mix of capability and convenience that makes it useful for work, towing, and long days behind the wheel. Is the 2014 Ford F-350 Super Duty reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview describes a truck built around capability, with a strong engine lineup and work-focused equipment that supports demanding use. At the same time, its safety and tech are relatively basic, so you should expect a heavy-duty ownership experience rather than a refined light-duty one. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about luxury features and more about how hard the truck was worked and maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

At 67.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether the truck has had any collision damage, title issues, or repeated ownership changes. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the truck was used for towing, hauling, or commercial work. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and signs of hard use, since those factors matter a lot in a heavy-duty truck.

What is the 2014 Ford F-350 Super Duty's resale value?

The current average of $25,695 sits slightly below last year's $27,038.

That softer pricing suggests the truck has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to stay realistic on asking price. If you buy well and keep the truck in strong condition, you can help protect value when it comes time to sell. Heavy-duty trucks with broad utility and strong demand tend to hold attention better than niche vehicles, especially when they remain clean and well documented.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Ford F-350 Super Duty or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 28.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 67.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.97% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2014 if you want a capable heavy-duty truck at a softened price point and you’re willing to shop carefully for condition. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may still be worth comparing, but the 2014 already gives you strong capability, broad configuration choices, and a market that still offers some deal potential.
