Why it stands out
The 2014 Dodge Durango redefines what buyers can expect from a mid-size SUV with its stunning design and robust performance. Built on the same platform as the Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Durango boasts a stylish, refined interior with high-quality materials that enhance comfort and overall driving experience. Its rugged exterior is complemented by a spacious cabin that can comfortably accommodate both passengers and cargo.
Equipped with a capable 3.6-liter V6 engine that offers 290 horsepower and a smooth-shifting 8-speed automatic transmission, the Durango provides respectable performance for a vehicle of its size. The optional 5.7-liter V8 caters to drivers looking for additional power and towing capacity. While it has been praised for its driving dynamics and serene cabin environment, some concerns regarding its reliability persist which potential buyers should consider before making their purchase.
The advanced Uconnect system, noted for its user-friendliness, allows drivers to access essential infotainment features with ease. However, concerns regarding third-row comfort and the lack of slide capability for second-row seats have been noted, potentially impacting passenger satisfaction. Overall, the 2014 Dodge Durango stands out as a family-friendly SUV that balances style, performance, and advanced technology, despite some lingering doubts about reliability.

Due to age of car, missing CarPlay. Otherwise size and function covers what I needed.

Bought new, and luv my Durango, 206k miles later. No major repairs needed until recently. Has the famous Dodge Ticking sound, lifters need replacing I’m told. And transfer case needs replacing, because truck gears grind or something during takeoff if accelerating too fast. Besides those two things, can’t think of anything besides Normal wear and tear. 10 years later and I Still luv my Durango.
