How much does the 2014 Cadillac Escalade cost?

Prices have softened 10.28% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 377 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare prices and conditions.

Is the 2014 Cadillac Escalade a good car?

Generally — with a user rating of 4/5, this model year lands in solid territory for shoppers who want a full-size luxury SUV with a distinctive identity, a refined interior, and a strong equipment list. The 2014 Escalade keeps the traditional body-on-frame formula, offers rear-wheel drive with all-wheel drive available, and comes in standard and ESV versions, so you can choose the size and layout that best fit your needs. It also brings upscale features like a hands-free power liftgate, tri-zone climate control, 4G LTE connectivity, and a surround-view camera, while still emphasizing size and utility. 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Cadillac Escalade reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2014 Escalade’s reliability picture is shaped more by its heavy-duty luxury-SUV mission than by simplicity, since it combines a large V8, an eight-speed automatic, and a long list of convenience and technology features. That means your long-term ownership risk is less about basic capability and more about the cost and complexity of keeping a large, feature-rich SUV in good condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Cadillac Escalade?

At 56.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks body condition, alignment, and signs of prior repair. Focus closely on the condition of the interior electronics, the power-operated third row, and the overall fit and finish, since those are the kinds of areas that matter most in a luxury SUV like this.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Cadillac Escalade?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 377 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.28% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 56.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,818, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Cadillac Escalade's resale value?

The current average of $14,870 sits slightly below last year's $16,573.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also suggests future resale may depend heavily on how well you maintain the vehicle. If you keep mileage reasonable and preserve condition, you may be better positioned when it comes time to sell. Because this is a large luxury SUV with a strong feature set, buyers will still compare condition closely, so clean history and good upkeep matter.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Cadillac Escalade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $19,336, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $14,870 average.
• The redesign gives the Escalade a more statement-making presence and stronger desirability.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2014 is the more price-conscious path and gives you a lower entry point into Escalade ownership. If you care more about the newer redesign and are willing to pay more, the 2015 is the better secondary path.
