How much does the 2014 Acura TL cost?

Prices are up 2.88% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 115 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2014 Acura TL a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Acura TL is a good car if you want a well-equipped luxury sedan with a strong emphasis on comfort, technology, and available performance. The model offers a choice between a 2.4-liter four-cylinder and a 3.5-liter V6, plus available SH-AWD on V6 models, so you can prioritize efficiency or stronger output depending on your needs. It also comes with a long list of standard features, including four-wheel steering, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a dual-screen infotainment setup.

The market shows 33.9% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Acura TL reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2014 Acura TL has a solid feature set and a clear appeal for buyers who want a comfortable, well-equipped luxury sedan. At the same time, you should pay close attention to the V6 model’s nine-speed automatic transmission, which is a known weak point in this year.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure you avoid a car with transmission issues or deferred maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Acura TL?

At 45.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether the car has any accident or damage records. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to the transmission, overall mechanical condition, and signs of uneven wear or poor repairs. Because this model is a luxury sedan with a lot of equipment, you should also make sure every feature works as expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Acura TL?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 115 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.88% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 45.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,874, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Acura TL's resale value?

The current average of $12,224 sits slightly above last year's $11,881.

That upward move suggests the market has held up reasonably well for this model year, which can help support resale value if you buy carefully. If you choose a clean, well-maintained example with strong documentation, you should be in a better position when it comes time to sell. Pricing discipline matters here, though, because buyers will still compare condition and history closely.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Acura TL or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 45.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.88% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should buy the 2014 Acura TL if you want a feature-rich luxury sedan and you can verify that the specific car has a clean history and solid maintenance records. If you are especially price-sensitive, focus on the lower end of the market range and be patient for a well-kept example, since condition and transmission health matter more than simply finding the cheapest listing.
