Used 2014 Acura TL for Sale nearNew Brunswick, NJ

How much does the 2014 Acura TL cost?

Prices are up 1.87% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 119 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2014 Acura TL a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Acura TL earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview shows why: you get a premium sport sedan with a choice of two engines, a broad spread of performance, and a well-equipped cabin for its era. It also stands out for unusual hardware like four-wheel steering and available SH-AWD on V6 models, which gives you more character than many rivals in this class. With 32.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Acura TL reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also points to a car that was built with a generous feature set and a premium positioning, which can support confidence if you find one that has been maintained well. At the same time, the V6’s nine-speed automatic transmission later proved troublesome, so used buyers should pay close attention to service history and how the car drives.

For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is ending up with a poorly maintained example, especially if the transmission has not been cared for properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Acura TL?

At 47.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records and ownership background before you commit. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to transmission behavior, since the V6’s nine-speed automatic later proved troublesome. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and how the car feels on a test drive, because those details matter more when you’re shopping a used luxury sedan.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Acura TL?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 119 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.87% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 47.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,863, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Acura TL's resale value?

The current average of $12,175 sits slightly above last year's $11,952.

That upward move suggests the market has held steady enough to support decent resale positioning for sellers. If you own a clean, well-maintained example, you may be able to benefit from that stability when it comes time to list. The strongest results will usually come from cars with clear service history and condition that stands out against the broader used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Acura TL or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 47.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.87% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the TL’s final-year mix of strong available performance, distinctive hardware, and a well-equipped cabin, the 2014 is the one to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can still shop nearby years, but the 2014 makes the most sense when you want the most mature version of this generation and are willing to be selective about condition and history.
