Used 2014 Acura TL for Sale near New Jersey

How much does the 2014 Acura TL cost?

Prices are up 9.06% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 135 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2014 Acura TL a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Acura TL earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview shows a premium sport sedan with a clear split between efficiency and stronger performance, plus a well-equipped cabin for its era. You also get a broad feature set and unusual hardware such as four-wheel steering, which helps it stand out if you want a more distinctive luxury sedan. With 32.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2014 Acura TL reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also points to a car that was built with a generous feature set and a premium positioning, which can be appealing if you want a used sedan that feels well equipped. At the same time, the V6’s nine-speed automatic transmission later proved troublesome, so long-term ownership risk is worth taking seriously on used examples.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Acura TL?

At 49.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body panels, paint consistency, alignment, and signs of uneven wear that could point to past collision work. Because this model can be found with different equipment levels, focus on overall condition and maintenance records rather than features alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Acura TL?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 135 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 9.06% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 49.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,874, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Acura TL's resale value?

The current average of $12,246 sits slightly above last year's $11,229.

That price movement suggests the market has held up reasonably well for this model year, which can help support resale confidence if you buy at the right price. If you purchase near the lower end of the range, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation exposure later. Strong demand for well-kept examples should matter most if your car has clean history and solid maintenance.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Acura TL or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 49.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 9.06% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should focus on the 2014 if you want the TL’s final-year mix of strong available performance, a generous feature set, and a distinctive premium-sedan feel. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and prioritize the cleanest, best-documented example rather than chasing features alone.
