The front-wheel-drive 2009 Lucerne seats five in a standard front bucket seats/rear bench setup, but an optional front bench can squeeze in one extra passenger. Although not as powerful as the Chrysler 300, the 2009 Lucerne's V8 engine packs plenty of punch for a full-size sedan. A quiet ride, with more high-end features than similarly priced sedans, makes it an attractive, if somewhat bland, choice for work or family duty. Some downsides include minimal storage space inside the cabin and a wide turning radius.
