By now, the Matrix is everywhere. But what is the Toyota Matrix? The unique body design makes it a difficult vehicle to categorize. The Matrix is technically hatchback, although it bares many similarities to a minivan with respect to shape. Toyota Designed the Matrix to offer a combination of the driving ease of a compact car with the interior room of a small crossover SUV.
