Overview
The Mitsubishi Eclipse is a sporty two-door coupe with two available engines/trim levels: the 4-cylinder GS and the 6-cylinder GT. The convertible version of this car is called the Eclipse Spyder. The Eclipse has a sleek, eye-catching shape, but other than that it's unremarkable. Although the car has received good reviews for its reliability, it isn't really a stand-out among the cars in its class. That's not to say it isn't a good car - it just doesn't make headlines. Owners of the Eclipse are in general quite satisfied, and for that matter very satisfied for the attention their beautiful car brings them. Some feel that its suspension does not match its sporty personality, in that it is tuned too softly. The 2007 Eclipse comes in seven stylish paint finishes that are off the beaten path of car colors. The most unique one is a coppery-orange called Sunset Pearlescent.

I do not think this car was worth $6,000 in particular. But I do love this style car, the eclipse in general is a great handling car from the older styles to the newer, and its comfortable for me. I love the body style, its just really my kind of car.

Very sporty, extremely quick, incredibly comfortable and decent mpg. A lot of fun to drive, handles great and love the sound of the exhaust growl. I've gotten more compliments than when I had my spyder, which got a lot of attention on her own. Looking forward to many happy years.

This car looks fast just sitting still. Awesome handling thanks to the independent rear suspension and wide chassis. Picked up the GS for 22K but if you have the extra 10K for the GT then I'm more than confident that it's well worth it. The thing is fun to drive but does have a different feel to it. It feels very wide inside and there's really no backseat worth mentioning. Can't really see over the hood completely which is the only thing I'd have to say I dislike.

Overall the car is gorgeous and reliable. It's heavy and built solid like a tank, which makes me feel safe. The sound system is FANTASTIC! It's fun to drive and I always get lots of looks when I'm out and about in it. Luckily, I'm short so the car offers me lots of room. I hauled a 32 inch 100lb tv in the trunk 220 miles to my brothers and had room left over for my luggage and dvd player. It's all in how you pack your cargo.
