Overview

The Crossfire was introduced in 2004, largely based on an original 2001 concept which represented the first collaboration between Chrysler and Mercedes Benz. For this first model year, only one style was offered, but Chrysler would add trim levels and a convertible variation for 2005 and 2006.
Crossfire design and engineering relied heavily upon the previous generation Mercedes SLK. Both cars were built on the same chassis, and the drive train and many interior elements were also shared.
The Crossfire came standard with leather power heated seating for two, dual-zone climate control, a powerful CD audio system, ABS with BrakeAssist, and traction and stability control. A navigation system was optional.
The coupe was powered by a potent Mercedes-supplied 3.2 liter V-6, which generated 215 horsepower and 229 pound-feet of torque. The engine could be paired with either a five-speed automatic or a six-speed manual transmission. The 3000 pound Crossfire raced from 0 to 60 mph in 6.8 seconds, and braked back down to zero over just 117 feet.
The Crossfire was well-reviewed by owners and test drivers alike. The Benz-like styling was a common favorite feature, but many felt that Chrysler used too many lower-grade interior materials. Other complaints included cramped seating and poor rear visibility.

Great on gas, fast acceleration, great looking, plenty of room in rear for luggage. I love the car very much, but my guy is 6'6 and he can't fit in it, so I have too look for something better suited for him.

Love the car. Way too many positives to list. Acceleration and handling leave nothing to be desired. It really hugs the road no matter what curves you throw at it. Looks and performance. It is basically a Mercedes with a Chrysler emblem.

One of the most solid build cars I've ever driven. A lot of fun to drive. I love the interior and exterior. Excellent value for the money. Greatly under rated. Would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexspensive sports car of good quality.

I have owned this car for 3 years, it was purchased with 1800 miles on it (now has 45k). The performance on the standard car is average. It's not heart stopping but it does the trick. Build quality is average, I'd have expected more from this car. Appearance is nice, reasonable layout on the dash, everything is visible and within reach. Costs. REQUIRES FULLY SYNTHETIC OIL. This baby will cost more than average for oil changes. Services arent cheap but a fair amount can be done by the owner. This car is fun to drive. Reasonably lively, lovely steering and handling. This car likes long windy roads to really show you what she is about. All in all I rate 7/10.
