Dual front airbags are standard, but side impact bags come only with leather-equipped cars, and ABS brakes and traction control will cost you extra. The 2004 Century has no pretenses at winning design contests, but it is a reliable, affordable, and reasonably well-equipped entry-level sedan. Owners say you get a lot for your money, and they like the 20/30 mpg, and smooth and quiet ride. The trunk capacity is another highlight, but the overwhelming praise went to interior comfort, especially on long trips. There are few complaints about the 2004 Century. They mostly concern its bland styling, lack of standard ABS, and the soft suspension.
