Shot muffler. Unable to get a read on if engine in good shape, couldn’t accelerate hard due to noise and vibrations. Dealer said they would replace the muffler.

996 has great performance and handling. The build quality is high which is the cornerstone of Porsche cars generally. I think the styling of the 996 is beautiful and was unduly criticised. Cost of ownership - economical. It's a fun car!

The Turbo model is a great vintage and always in demand. Models of this type and year not only look great, they are so much fun to drive. It may not have all the luxuries of a new car but the driving experience speaks for itself. Never a bad choice.

The Porsche 996 turbo is probably one of the most reliable cars out there. I would highly recommend this car to any car lover. This car has plenty of power with a 420 horsepower twin turbo. The car handles better than any car in the world and looks like a car of the future. Couldn't be happier!!
