Used 2002 Mazda 626 for Sale near Chicago, IL
The 2002 Mazda 626 only saw minimal changes for the model year, including new interior and exterior color choices. This would be the last year for the 626. Though it was Mazda's top-selling car, the 626 was going to be replaced by an all-new midsized sedan, the Mazda 6, which came to the market in X.
The 2001 Mazda 626 was available in three trims: the LX, the LX V6,and the ES V6. The LX was the midrange model. Upgrading to the ES gets a power moon roof, leather interior, and a six-way power driver's seat. The base engine was a 2.0-liter, 130 horsepower four cylinder, and the V6 had 2.5 liters and 170 horsepower. Fuel economy is 22/28 for the four cylinder and 20/26 for the V6.
Drivers of the 2002 Mazda 626 cite a number of reasons why they like the car. Many say it is a good value, with lots of standard features even on the lower-end LX. They also say it handles well and is more fun to drive than other family sedans on the market. Those who own the four-cylinder complain that there isn’t enough power, and some find that it takes a long time to warm up.
4.4 Overall rating
(13 reviews)like the handling on it. very good on gas and the style on it is great. convenient features like power seats, leather, auto swing air vents. great space for cargo and also second row. very good on gas too. overall is a great vehicle to own
A good drive to own, completely packed with all functionality and practicality. But it lacks initial pickup and power though it has a 2000cc under its hood and has low resale value. A good family car i would say. 3/5
Not very powerful, but has very good handling and brakes. The build quality is top notch. The exterior is ageless - it's a 7-year-old car and still looks quite modern. It gets pretty good gas mileage and has plenty of cargo and passenger space - more than you'd think.
Performance-acceleration is good for a 4cyl. and i love the handleing unless your doing about 90 then it gets a litle weird. quality- there are some very annoying rattling nosies in the door that you would actually have to take the door off to fix.. apperarance- i love cleaning my car and putting armorall on the dash....it just shines...and its so pretty....outside i like too cost- great gas mileage before everybody went crazy with it... fun- i love this car...small but big enough to take my friends places i would recommend this car to a friend
she is a good car to own just hard to find parts.
