Used 2001 Honda Passport for Sale near Georgia
Still designed and built by Isuzu, and no changes from the previous year, the 2001 Honda Passport is a light, small, minivan, with some crash test problems.
It comes in in six colors: silver, white, black, blue, red, and green and comes in either regular 2WD drive or 4WD.
It's 4WD system allows for shifting on the fly and the simple push of a button can bring you into 4WD high even while driving. Moving into low drive though requires stopping and manipulating a lever on the floor. There's even a winter mode which helps the tires really grab the ice, which is a welcome enhancement for those of us living in the snow and ice that lasts far too many months.
The 3.2-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 makes it a reasonable drive. One complaint, though, which was voiced by many, involves the placement of the windshield wiper control which is different than many other vehicles.
The EX model comes with a cool moon roof, fog lights, and remote key-less entry -- all optional features for the LX model.
On the LX Passport model, the spare tire is mounted on the tailgate. On EX and EX-L, it's in the cargo area, which is problematic when driving up a steep grade since it will drag on the road.

(4 reviews)This is an absolutely great weekend running around vehicle. I use it mostly for beach outings, trips to the dog park and traveling. Lots of room - fun to drive - decent gas mileage - easy maintenance. Love it - Love it - Love it!
goes in reduce power doesnt go past 20mph then your trany goes then your motor , just one big problem
i purchased my truck in 05 as soon as i drove it off the lot things happened right away. the gas sensor went out, some other part up in the engine that had to be replaced went, the windshield wiper in the back quit and no my cd player wont eject my disks. every part is 300-400 dollars and also the high dollar labor. i didnt just dive into buying this automobile. after extensively searching the internet for months, this suv was on the top. woooooooooww was i mistaken. i had to buy used because of my income and just getting married, what a bummer.
I bought this car in October after messing up my accord pretty bad. I was also needing something with a little more room and came across this deal! And what a great deal it was. Come to find out, I now know why it was priced so cheap. The lady I bought it from told me she had a problem with some lights coming on, but got it fixed so there was not an issue anymore. The check engine light and the Reduced Power light has been on since 2 days after I purchased it. We have replaced parts and had it to mechanics and even the dealership and nobody can seem to figure out what's going on with this car!! I'm at my wits end!! I just want to be able to drive this car and not have to worry about the reduced power kicking in and having to slowly make my way home. Hopefully someone can help, because I really do like the car and would love to drive it around!
