Overview
The 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier saw a few tweaks to its exterior styling. The sporty Z24 models had rear spoilers added; all of the trims were a bit sleeker and more streamlined.
Inside the cabin, the changes continued for the 2000 Cavalier. A redesigned dashboard had a retro, racetrack look; air-conditioning became a standard feature on all trims; and some little touches like added cup holders and improved child-seat anchors gave the '00 Chevy Cavalier a bit more luxury than most of the other compacts in its price class.
Three trims were available for the 2000 Chevy Cavalier. The Base trim was offered in sedan and coupe bodystyles, the more luxurious LS trim was sedan only, and the sporty Z24 was available as a two-door coupe and a convertible.

Great first car awsome commuter car. excellent on gas i averaged 500kms to a tank in the city. not the peppiest car but it will get you from point a-b everytime. Parts are dirt cheap repairs are simple and i got over 350,000kms out of mine before i scrapped mine due to body cancer in the wheel wells and rockers and floor.

Performance- For a 2.4 it has some power. It has ok brakes like any other car, and it handles good if you have a few modifacations like sway bar, strut bar. Build Quality- It is in amazing condition, Has been in some wreaks but was repaired amazingly. Cost of Ownership- The cars ia sports car so the insurance and plates are alittle more, Mileage is ok for the little 2.4. Oil changes and stuff are normal. Fun Factor- The car is very fun to drive, its very sporty and handles well.

I love my car and there's finally nothing major wrong with it. Unlike my last cavalier. I like that it has a sunroof and automatic windows and doors, and an alarm system. I like the gas mileage I get while driving it. I would recommend this car to a friend.

-Performance Acceleration pretty good its only 2.2 litre 4 cycle Automatic 4 speed, Braking pretty good if you got good Quality brand name. driving and handling was awesome for not bad Cavalier " non Z24". -Build Quality- Nothing need to be repairs! it has only 249xxxkm i'm 2nd owner. -Appearance- both interior and exterior styling are good almost same as " Z24- more sports car package" -Cost of Ownership- Gas mileages are awesome approx empty tank @ 740 km on hwy, in city depend on where you go work or personal drive still pretty good gas as far i know. maintenance- every change oil @ 5,000 km w/ performance full synthetic oil Mobli1 5w30( awesome recommend it i had since long time.) service by Gm dealership. -Fun factor- oh yah its kinda fun to drive awesome! almost same " Cavalier Z24" but remember this car Cavalier LS kinda near base unlike same as Cavalier Z24 ( more package sports).
