Well what to say about it, the goods plenty of power out of the six cylinder even turning 33 inch tires, handles good and turns on a dime, built like a tank i don't baby it at all and it just begs for more, and one of the most fun vehicles i've owned. Now the cons soft top makes noise when its up cause they stretch if u take them on and off all the time, bad gas mileage and lots of tire noise but thats my fault for doing the lift and big tires but hey bottom line is its a jeep not a lexus.

My Daily Driver Built for Off-Road and Cruizin at 80... on the Highway. Drives like a dream, replaced anything that squeaked, rusted, or made my ride noisy. Nothing like a fresh rebuild to enjy as a 40yo man. Thanks for reading...

This car is a very easy to drive, especially since it is so small. Despite its small wheelbase it sits high up which gives the driver a great view. This just goes to show that speed is not everything. You might beat me in a road race, but I'll just take the off-road short cut.

It is a very stable platform and well built. I abuse it on the trails but it is still running strong and i turned it into a submarine and it started right back up when it dried out. Its easy to work on and modify just needs the axles locked

50th aniversary and the first to get fuel injection 4.0L engine. I bought this one and rebuild it from frame/body to like new. Totally strip the interior , bedlined the tub, and redid the interior in spice instead of light tan/green. The original color was the light khaki with Light tan and green interior. This jeep was in several cars shows when I was done and I got 3rd in one show. That was 7 years ago and this one has 203000 miles on the original engine. I have driven it as my summer fun car and weekend warrior. I have replace the rear axle to a dana 44, but not because it broke. The spiders were just worn and broke (from the previous owner). I put a 2" lift and 31" tires, performance exhaust, and intake, new header. Other than that this has been ole' reliable to me. At 19 years old it been a pretty Jeep. My next task for her will be a engine swap...the old girl is getting pretty tired.
