Overview

The 1966 Jeep Wagoneer came with two engine options: an AMC Vigilante 327 cubic inch 250 HP V-8 or the AMC 232 I-6, which replaced the 230 cubic inch High Torque 6-cylinder engine. With a choice of an automatic or manual transmission, the 1966 Jeep Wagoneer can be as comfortable or rugged as it needs to be. 4WD, a heavy-duty frame, and a dual, self-adjusting brake system keep everyone safe, on the road or off.
Comfort-wise, the 1966 Jeep Wagoneer is not lacking either. Power steering, power brakes, and easy switching between 2WD and 4WD mean that the 1966 Jeep Wagoneer is easier to drive than many of its contemporaries. And with soft foam seats and a lot of cargo room, this is a vehicle that someone can take to the country club or the grocery store just as easily as the forest.
Come rain, shine or snow, the 1966 Jeep Wagoneer will get you anywhere you need to go, provided that you find one that was well-maintained or that you have the mechanical know-how to fix one up. Fortunately, the Wagoneer spent most of its life without many drastic mechanical changes, so finding parts is not a problem. A 1966 Jeep Wagoneer would be a great project for a car enthusiast.

It is a nice car when you considder how old it is.With lots of space for passengers and other things. The suspension is somewhat hard and bumpy.Only when you want to turn you need a lot of road because the steering-cirkel is about 25 meter.
