A mostly strait forward buying experience. Friendly staff and there wasn’t much back and forth. It’s a small dealership , around over 60 years and could use some modernization. I only deducted a star as the paperwork / pickup could have been more efficient. Unlike other dealers they don’t have onsite registry plate services so I needed to swing by a couple days later to pick up my vehicle

I bought my Miata on line and it was the easiest and best experience!! Garen was always available for questions and completely honest about the vehicle's condition. Overall I got a great car at a great price and he also arranged transport to Maine! I highly recommend checking out this dealership 🤩

All details about the car were not posted online. The hood had obviously been replaced/repainted. The price sticker on the car was $16k even though it was advertised as $9k; the salesman tried to convince us that this was some sort of “deal for us.” He then had a young employee pretend like he wanted to buy the car right there to try and pressure me to buy it. Horrible experience with untrustworthy employees. Waste of time. I ran.

I just bought a car from Russell at AK Motors this weekend. I was very pleased with the overall experience. I drove nearly 3 hrs to get there, so I asked him to please give me an honest assessment of the vehicle before I drove all that way. When I got there, the car was pretty much as he described it. It was in good overall condition and he was a no pressure sales person. He put a dealer plate on the car and let me take for a ride, for as long as I wanted and without him. The car checked out very well. Me and a friend of mine went through it pretty thoroughly. Russell and I were able to agree on a fair price and close the deal. He also had no problem letting me scan the car for any stored engine codes. It didn't have any. I drove the car back to CT, almost 150 miles, and it cruised fine all the way home. I would recommend using Russell and AK Motors if you are in the market for an affordable used vehicle.
