There is a lack of price transparency at this dealership. I spoke on the phone with someone about a car listed for about $18.9k. When I arrived, they first showed me a similar car with about 20k more miles. Then the “sales manager” quoted over $21k plus taxes and fees for the car I originally asked about. When I mentioned the advertised price we discussed on the phone, he said the person I spoke with “only makes appointments” and that the lower price was a “wholesale price.” Another employee, the lady who signed me in, even implied it was difficult for me to understand the price difference, which was disrespectful. I came for the advertised price, but they tried to charge much more. Someone should report this store to the NYC Department of Consumer Protection.

How can they justify selling such a beautiful car in this condition? It suggests poor maintenance and possibly careless ownership. If something this obvious was overlooked, what else might be wrong under the surface? Was the car abused by the previous owner? All signs point to yes. You decide if it’s worth the risk.
