The sales technique at Al Piemonte Chevrolet puts you in a strange situation: the car itself seems OK, but the sales process is so inadequate that you want to leave; so I did, and bought a similar, albeit more expensive, car at another dealership. There's no place to look at the car in the well-lit, covered area. If you arrive after sunset, bring a good flashlight. There are so many fees in the final price; some of them are completely ridiculous, like "paint protection" or "headlight protection." Also, if the customer is not buying and politely says, "Have a good night, sir, we are leaving," the standard etiquette dictates that your salesperson says something in return. You know, the basics. Your competitor had a warm, well-lit garage to inspect the car from all angles; there were no imaginary fees, just a firm OTD price, and an adequate salesperson who did not push me something I totally did not want. Al Piemonte Chevrolet is out of my family's list now and forever.

Over Priced. Unwilling to negotiate

We had good experience in buying a car from this dealer. We tried calling many dealers and everyone wanted us to come in to drive/see the car and we were away from the country. Pauly’s helped us set up everything online and we picked and payed for the car the day we landed in Chicago. They were really helpful.

Best car buying experience ever!

Overall sales personnel were very responsive! I offered them my buy price which was reasonable but the salesman said since they work on such small margins he couldn’t honor it. I followed up with him on an email substantiating how my offer price was fair (of course they could have put themselves into the vehicle cost WAY OVER average wholesale which I wouldn’t know) but couldn’t justify paying their price even though I really liked the car. To my surprise the next day Alex (sales manager) called me to see if “we” could put a deal together!?! This is the SILLY GAMESMANSHIP that drives shoppers NUTS! IF he was serious all he had to do was call me back and either sell it for my offer price OR say he could sell it for $xxxx less! Needless to say I didn’t call him back…
