They cleared me for financing and then immediately sold the car to someone else. They desperately wanted to come take my trade in without negotiating a price for it but wouldnt take cash to hold the new car. Sleezebag predatory salesman behavior. I do not recommend.

I was told I would be notified if the car sold prior to driving up from Eugene to purchase it. They never did, so I texted. On the highway up to Beaverton they responded that it sold. I turned around on the highway to go home and was getting the hard sell tactics of “don’t go home, we can find you a different car on the lot. Definitely tone deaf to what I was looking for.

I spent approximately five days working with the dealership and had progressed into the financing stage of the transaction. While this may have been a matter of poor timing, I was informed shortly after my credit was pulled that the vehicle was no longer available. I had previously signed a proposal that was provided to me with only a relatively minor request but was committed to purchasing the vehicle. Given that this is a Mercedes-Benz dealership, I feel there was a missed opportunity to deliver the level of customer service and “white-glove” experience one would reasonably expect. I want to note that I had no issues with the salesperson I worked with.
