What’s New for the 2025 Rolls-Royce Ghost
The Rolls-Royce Ghost is refreshed for the 2025 model year. Updates include smoother body panels, new lighting, a fresh grille design, and some new wheels. Inside, the infotainment and instrumentation now live in a new glass panel spanning the full width of the dashboard, and rear passengers get an updated entertainment interface capable of streaming from two different devices. The cabin has some tempting new options for upholstery and trim, too. Though the Ghost serves as the entry-level Rolls-Royce, it’s nearly as opulent as the automaker’s more expensive models.
Design
As far as Rolls-Royce vehicles go, the Ghost is on the subtle side. It’s smaller and smoother than the Phantom, though details such as the Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament, the vertical-slat grille, and the rear-hinged doors ensure no one will mistake this sedan for any other brand of vehicle. And, like other Rolls-Royce vehicles, Ghost buyers can order the car in nearly any color combination.
Powertrain
The Rolls-Royce Ghost features a 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive (AWD). In base form, it’s rated for 563 horsepower and 626 pound-feet of torque, though the Black Badge version is tuned for 591hp and 661 lb-ft. An air suspension system provides a silky ride that feels like gliding, as the Ghost zips to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds.

Interior
The Rolls-Royce Ghost seats five, and there’s plenty of space whether you opt for the regular or extended-wheelbase versions. It can be ordered in basically any configuration the buyer wishes, and new options for 2025 include tweed upholstery and gray wood trim. The LED-bedazzled, handmade Starlight headliner is a five-figure feature, but one of the signature elements that makes a Rolls-Royce a Rolls-Royce.
Technology
This Rolls-Royce is a master class in incorporating modern technology in a classy way. The Ghost features a glass display that incorporates a digital instrument panel and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Other features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation, Bluetooth, a second-row entertainment system with two screens and dual device connectivity, and an 18-speaker stereo system.
Safety
The 2025 Rolls-Royce Ghost comes standard with adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-departure warnings, and lane-keeping assist. The Ghost has not been tested for crashworthiness by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). That is typical for cars of this stature.

Pricing and Release Date
The 2025 Rolls-Royce Ghost is available now. As of this writing, pricing starts at $357,750 for the base Ghost, $407,750 for the extended-wheelbase Ghost, and $422,750 for the Ghost Black Badge. These prices do not include the $2,750 destination charge. Keep in mind, too, that Rolls-Royce’s endless array of upgrades and customization options are both tempting and expensive.
