What’s New for the 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV
The Mercedes-Benz EQE was all-new in 2023, and it got bigger batteries and an upgraded braking system for 2024. New for 2025, the EQE SUV gets a standard center airbag between the front seats, new headrest cushions, and new options such as Moonlight White Metallic paint and soft-close doors.
Design
As an EV, the EQE SUV's design focuses on aerodynamics with rounded edges and short front and rear overhangs. It comes standard with 20-inch wheels in multiple designs, and 21-inch wheels are available on all trims. Appearance packages on the non-AMG models include an AMG Line Exterior option. The AMG EQE SUV offers an AMG Night Package or AMG Night Package Plus. The Illuminated Star grille is an option on all models.
Powertrain
The base 288-horsepower Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ SUV is rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and equipped with a 96-kWh battery and a single motor that delivers up to 302 miles of range. All the other models in the lineup are all-wheel-drive (AWD) and have a dual-motor setup. The EQE 350 4Matic SUV has a 90.6-kWh battery and delivers 253 miles of range and 288 horsepower, and the EQE 500 SUV goes back up to the 96-kWh battery, delivering 264 miles of range and 402 hp. The sporty AMG EQE SUV is going to have the most power, at 617 horses, but it also has the least range at 230 miles. While the base EQE 350+ SUV has a zero-to-60-mph time of 6.4 seconds, the AMG model nearly cuts that number in half at 3.4 seconds.

Interior
The Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV puts a lot of emphasis on technology as well as comfort. At a base level, it comes equipped with a floating control cluster, synthetic leather seating surfaces, natural wood and metal accents, and a panoramic sunroof. Multi-contour front seats with massage functionality are available, as are microfiber headliners. Leather seats are available on all trims but standard at the EQE 500 SUV level. Heated front and rear seats are available. Similar to the EQE Sedan, passenger space is ample, but the EQE SUV has a leg up in the cargo area with 14.0 cubic feet of volume.
Technology
The Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV is packed with tech, and it begins with the customizable digital cluster and large infotainment screen. The MBUX system can recognize your fingerprint, overlay directions on live video of a turn, and optimize your driving route with Electric Intelligence. The Infotainment system includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as several audio streaming services. Speaking of audio, the standard system is from Burmester. Other tech features include a 360-degree camera, 64-color ambient lighting, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and available options such as a head-up display and soft-close doors.
