What’s New for the 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQE
For 2025, Mercedes-Benz updates the EQE's regenerative braking software for a more natural feel, and all versions get new batteries with updated cells. The EQE 350+ Sedan and EQE 500 Sedan both jump up to a 96.0-kWh battery capacity. From a comfort perspective, the EQE Sedan also adds headrest pillows to the front of the multi-contour seats and the back of the Nappa leather seats. Soft-close doors are also a new option. Finally, the AMG model has added a standard center airbag between the front seats.
Design
As an electric vehicle (EV), the EQE Sedan design focuses on aerodynamics in what Mercedes calls its “one bow” body shape, with short front and rear overhangs, rounded edges, and seamless transitions. The EQE comes standard with 20-inch wheels in multiple designs, and 21-inch wheels are available on all trims. Optional appearance packages include the AMG Line Exterior and Interior packages as well as a Night Package on the non-AMG trims and an AMG Night Package or AMG Night Package Plus on the AMG EQE Sedan.
Powertrain
The base 288-horsepower Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ Sedan is rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and equipped with a 96-kWh battery and a single motor that delivers up to 308 miles of range. All the other models in the lineup are all-wheel-drive (AWD) and have a dual-motor setup. The EQE 350 4Matic Sedan has a 90.6-kWh battery and delivers 267 miles of range and 288 hp, and the EQE 500 Sedan goes back up to the 96-kWh battery, delivering 260 miles of range and 402 hp. The sporty AMG EQE Sedan offers the most power, at 617 hp, but it also has the least range at 220 miles. While the base EQE 350+ Sedan has a zero-to-60-mph time of 6.2 seconds, the AMG model nearly cuts that number in half at 3.2 seconds.

Interior
The Mercedes EQE Sedan puts a lot of emphasis on cabin comfort, and at a base level, it comes equipped with synthetic leather seating surfaces, natural wood and metal accents, and a panoramic moonroof. Multi-contour front seats with massage functionality are available, as are microfiber headliners. Leather seats become standard at the EQE 500 Sedan level, and you’ll see Nappa leather on the AMG EQE Sedan. Heated front and rear seats are available. While the passenger space is ample, storage space is not, as the EQE only offers 10.9 cubic feet of cargo space.
Technology
The 2025 EQE Sedan is packed with tech, and it begins with the customizable digital cluster and large infotainment screen. The MBUX system can recognize your fingerprint and includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as several audio streaming services. Speaking of audio, the standard system is from Burmester. Other tech features include an intelligent navigation system that optimizes your route for electric driving, a 360-degree camera, a 64-color ambient lighting system, and options such as a head-up display and soft-close doors.
