What’s New for the 2025 Hyundai Venue
The Venue was introduced for the 2020 model year. Each year, it has received some minimal updates or trim changes. For the 2025 model year, the changes are minimal and only include a changeup in the shade of green that’s being offered as an optional color.
Design
As mentioned, the Venue has an upright design that results in a spacious greenhouse. This provides good driver visibility and good headroom for all occupants. Trims for the Venue are SE, SEL, and Limited. The SE comes with 15-inch alloy wheels. The SEL and Limited come with 17-inch alloy wheels. The SEL also adds a chrome grille.
Powertrain
The 2025 Venue comes equipped with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. It makes 121 horsepower and 113 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed to the front wheels through a continuously variable transmission (CVT). All-wheel drive (AWD) is not offered on the Venue. EPA fuel economy estimates for the 2025 Hyundai Venue are 29 mpg city, 32 highway, and 31 combined.

Interior
The Venue has a functional and attractive interior with a simple layout. The SE comes with remote keyless entry, cloth upholstery, and manual seats. The SEL trim add a sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. The Limited trim gains heated front seats but loses the sunroof. With the rear seats folded, the Venue provides up to 18.7 cubic feet of cargo space. With the rear seats in use, it has 31.9 cubic feet.
Technology
The Venue comes equipped with two USB ports, a six-speaker stereo, and an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Available tech features include satellite radio, two additional USB ports, wireless device charging, and navigation. CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity are wireless on the SE and SEL trims, but stepping up to the Limited trim requires a cable to use these features.
Safety
Standard driver-assistance features on the Venue include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, automatic high beams, driver-attention monitoring, and lane-keep assist. Upgraded trims include cyclist detection, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gave the Venue an overall score of four out of five stars. It has not been evaluated by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
