What’s New for the 2024 Cadillac XT6

The XT6 is largely unchanged for the 2024 model year. The only news is the availability of two new colors, which are called “Midnight Sky” and “Emerald Lake.”

Design

The Cadillac XT6 has an upright design that reinforces its positioning as a more crossover-like alternative to the imposing Escalade. It maintains the broad, clean grille and slender LED headlights. Trims for the XT6 are Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport. The Luxury comes with 18-inch alloy wheels. Stepping up to the Premium Luxury and Sport adds 20-inch alloy wheels. The Sport features dark exterior accents and is also available with 21-inch wheels.

Powertrain

The base engine in the 2024 XT6 is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The Premium Luxury and Sport trims come equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that develops 310 hp and 271 lb-ft of torque. Power is routed through a 10-speed automatic transmission to front-wheel drive (FWD) or available all-wheel drive (AWD).

The Sport trim comes standard with AWD, as well as Brembo brakes and an adaptive sport suspension system that is also optional on the Premium Luxury trim.

The most efficient version of the XT6 is the turbo-four with FWD, returning 21 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined. The turbo-four requires premium fuel. The least efficient configuration is the V6 with AWD, returning 18 mpg city, 25 mpg highway, and 21 mpg combined. However, the V6 can run on regular fuel.
