What’s New for the 2024 Cadillac Escalade ESV
The Escalade ESV is largely unchanged for the 2024 model year.
Design
The 2024 Escalade ESV features a commanding grille, sleek LED headlights, and crisp, modern lines. Trims for the Escalade ESV are Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport Platinum, and Premium Luxury Platinum. All trims come with 22-inch alloy wheels. Luxury trims come with exterior brightwork, while Sport trims come with dark exterior trim.
Powertrain
The Escalade ESV comes equipped with a powerful 6.2-liter V8 engine, producing 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. An available 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-six makes 277 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. Both engines route power through a 10-speed automatic transmission to rear-wheel drive (RWD) or to available four-wheel drive (4WD).
EPA estimates for the V8 engine with RWD put fuel economy at 14 mpg city, 19 mpg highway, and 16 mpg combined. With 4WD, highway fuel economy drops to 18 mpg, but ratings are the same for city and combined driving. The diesel engine returns fuel economy of 21 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined with RWD and 20 mpg city, 26 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined with 4WD.
Interior
The Escalade ESV provides seating for up to seven passengers with the standard second-row captain's chairs. The optional second-row bench brings the seating capacity up to eight.
Standard features in the Escalade ESV include synthetic leather upholstery, heated front seats, heated second-row seats, and a heated steering wheel. Available features include a panoramic sunroof, genuine leather upholstery, and ventilated front seats.
With the second and third rows folded, the Escalade ESV provides an incredible 142.8 cubic feet of cargo space. Folding up the second row provides 94.1 cubic feet of cargo space. With all rear rows in use, the vehicle still has 41.5 cubic feet of dedicated cargo space.
Technology
The dash is dominated by a large curved display with a fully digital instrument panel and a 16.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also comes standard with wireless device charging, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a 19-speaker AKG premium sound system.
Safety
The Escalade ESV comes standard with an array of advanced safety features, including automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, and lane-departure warning. Available safety features include automatic parking assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a night vision system.

At the time of this writing, base MSRP for the 2024 Cadillac Escalade ESV is $86,890 for the Luxury trim. The Premium Luxury trim starts at $98,190.
