What’s New for the 2024 Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron
For 2024, all Q4 e-tron models feature standard adaptive cruise control with lane-centering. The Q4 e-tron also gets new paddle shifters on the steering wheel for adjusting regenerative braking. Premium models with the Convenience package, as well as all Premium Plus and Prestige trims, now come with a standard programmable garage door opener.
Design
The conventional Q4 e-tron has a more upright SUV style, but the Sportback seen here has a fastback design that provides a rakish profile. Trims for the Q4 Sportback e-tron are Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. All trims come with 20-inch alloy wheels and the S Line exterior. The Black Optics package is available and includes black exterior trim.
Powertrain
While the 2024 Q4 e-tron SUV is offered in single-motor and dual-motor versions, the Sportback version is exclusively offered in the upgraded dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup. It makes a total system output of 355 horsepower and can go from zero to 60 mph in five seconds. The Q4 Sportback e-tron has a top speed of 99 mph.
The 77-kWh battery pack has a range of 258 miles. With a Level 2 charger, the range can be replenished in about 12 hours, and with DC fast-charging (175 kW), the battery can be recharged from 10% to 80% charge in about 28 minutes.

Interior
The five-passenger interior comes standard with leather upholstery, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, tri-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof. A Convenience Package adds a power-adjustable front passenger seat, memory settings for the driver’s seat, and a wireless charging pad. The Premium Plus trim adds a Wi-Fi hotspot and a heated steering wheel.
With the rear seats folded, the Q4 Sportback e-tron provides up to 54.4 cubic feet of cargo space. With the rear seats in use, cargo space measures 26.1 cubic feet, accessed via a standard power liftgate.
Technology
The 2024 Q4 Sportback e-tron comes standard with an 11.6-inch touchscreen that runs Audi’s intuitive MMI infotainment system. It also includes wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, two USB ports, and a fully digital instrument panel, which Audi calls the Virtual Cockpit. Stepping up to the Premium Plus upgrades the sound system from the eight-speaker base stereo to a 10-speaker Sonos sound system.
Safety
The list of standard driver-assistance features includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, rain-sensing windshield wipers, lane-departure warning, front and rear parking sensors, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. The Premium Plus adds traffic-sign recognition, lane-keep assistance, and parking assist. The Prestige adds a head-up display, headlight washers, and Audi’s upgraded Matrix-LED headlights.
