I never have ridden in or driven one but with reputation for Honda I feel that it has to be vehicle to be proud to own. My next truck will be a downsize and it will be the Honda RIdgeline.

So far, so good. It’s much more comfortable than the other cars we test drove and meeting all of our expectations. Features are amazing, especially including the truck bed audio and Apple Car Play. The truck is about average price for the year, but feels to be a good value. I can’t think of anything it’s missing in particular yet.

Has lots of great features, power seats , lumbar support, leather seats, stadium seating in the back. Compares favorably to Ford Ranger and Toyota Tacoma. It is missing XM radio capability. Very short sighted on Honda’s part.

2018 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E AWD Review
Zonda_723 says:
The styling is much improved over the earlier models. The truck is quiet and has a very car like ride. The bed is wider but not as deep as other mid size pick ups. The truck has plenty of power but can only tow 5K pounds. The front wheel drive model can only tow 3K pounds. Many of the safety options that are available on all trim levels of the Tacoma are only available on the highest trim level (RTL E). The truck is very nice but is very pricey at over $40,000.

"The looks are a toss up but the Honda color choices are much better."
Back Seats Ranked 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road Double Cab 4WD worse.
"Better padding and more leg room in the Ridgeline back seats"

2018 Honda Ridgeline RTL-T Review
GuruW25RB says:
Vehicle drove well. Very quiet. Touch screen and navigation excellent. Liked the double swing tailgate. Great to be able to open it like a regular door and also like a tailgate. Like the lighted truck bed. Leather interior and seat controls very nice and comfortable. Like the trunk below the bed of the truck. Great place to put items to carry without being forced to put them in the cab. Sound system in cab and Climate vents in the back seating were appreciated. I liked this vehicle as well as the 2017 model. I chose the 2018 to purchase because there was a relatively small difference in price between the new 2018 and the used 2017.

Handling Ranked 2017 Honda Ridgeline RTL-T better.
"Not really certain that it did handle better. In all honesty I really saw no difference in handling between the 2 years."
Looks/Style Ranked 2017 Honda Ridgeline RTL-T worse.
"It looked a little more streamed lined to me. Not sure there was really much difference."
