2018 Ford Mustang Reviews, Pricing & Specs

Expert review
With a nip here and a tuck there, plus substantial mechanical and technological improvements, the 2018 Ford Mustang aims to ensure its continued popularity.
Ever heard the term “pony car”? It is a direct reference to the Ford Mustang and the American 2-door sports coupe segment it has dominated since 1964. Today, the 2018 Mustang is less rudimentary and more sophisticated than ever, blurring the demarcation lines between mainstream and premium cars, and muscle and sports cars. No longer are the Mustang’s primary competitors limited solely to the Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger, especially when measured in terms of performance.

What owners say
"Overall, owners love the 2018 Ford Mustang for its power, sporty design, and enjoyable driving experience. Many appreciate the fast acceleration and smooth ride, while the convertible design is favored for leisure driving. However, some owners were disappointed by trunk space and discrepancies in vehicle specifications. Overall, it's seen as a fun, stylish, and affordable muscle car."
This is a driver’s car. Base model, performance package, standard shift. It’s got all the right parts and it is exactly the car I would have ordered if I were there to purchase this car when it was new.
March 31, 2026First the color Kona Blue is beautiful especially in the sunlight. Ride is smooth and comfortable. I love that you change to sport mode. And your comfort or sport for steering. Love it! Inexpensive muscle car.
March 19, 2025Very good value. Car is missing nothing. I would compare it to a corvette.

April 2, 2025Engine sounds good. Interior has lots of cigarette burns. Front bumper cover was repainted, could have done a better job on the clear coat. Scratch down the passenger side quarter panel. Would have bought for cash if price was a little bit lower.
August 13, 2025Comfortable, sexy, fast, yet excellent mpg. Best American made current day muscle car out there. No wonder it’s best selling 2+2 on the market. Great job Ford!!
March 5, 2023Love the overall feel of the car. The look and ride are very smooth. The engine does not disappoint and is very quick
May 12, 2023Great driving experience, great features with the premium package trims.
November 13, 2020The Ford Mustang GT is an escape from regular driving. From the numerous standard features to the highly recommended fully equipped options (what I bought), youll find yourself happy to be on the open road and even in traffic! The road less traveled is an understatement in a vehicle like this. So drop the top, crank up your favorite song and just, enjoy...the road. The adventure starts by the turn of a key (or button in this case ha ha)
August 30, 2022I love the twin turbo of the ecoboost, power and torque at its best, insurance less expensive, and better fuel mileage than its Big Brother the 5.0
October 8, 2022I love this car, it is amazingly fast with the 10 speed automatic, sounds excellent as well. Now just trying to find one in my price range!
