2017 Chevrolet Malibu Reviews, Pricing & Specs

The CarGurus verdict
With the 2017 Malibu, Chevrolet perfects its midsize sedan recipe just as people are migrating away from family cars and into family crossovers.
Rodney Dangerfield was a legendary stand-up comedian, and while his on-stage shtick was all about how he didn’t get any respect, as a comedic talent he was held in the highest esteem. That’s not the case for the 2017 Chevrolet Malibu. The oft-maligned Malibu literally gets no respect, which is too bad because with its most recent redesign for the 2016 model year, the car absolutely deserves it.

What owners say
"Overall, owners appreciate the 2017 Chevrolet Malibu for its comfort, features, and good gas mileage. Many reviewers highlighted its smooth driving experience and modern tech options like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. However, some expressed concerns about the car being noisy and slightly slow on initial acceleration. There's also a sentiment that the price could be lower, and a few noted quality issues when comparing the actual car to pictures."
The car has all the features Im looking for, from great gas mileage to Apple CarPlay. Thee car is a great value for the money. The only feature this car is missing is an inverter, but those are only important on long road trips. I was also looking at the Hyundai Elantra, and this car is a close competition.

February 10, 2023Awesome car, very comfortable and efficient controls. Great gas mileage

October 4, 2022Yes this car is great I just purchased one recently and I am completely happy with my choice. It has up to date features including android auto and apple music, bluetooth capabilities, bright fog lights for dark road and drives smooth. I would compare this car kia Optima as far as drivable. Overall its a good car well worth the money.
August 12, 2020Nice car. Drives well, a little noisy for my taste though. The sport and tech package is great. A little slow on initial acceleration, but picks up nicely. Plenty of driver side room.
April 27, 2020This car is only missing the driver! Great Car, plenty of features. Great gas mileage! Great ride!
September 14, 2021Very poor quality in person compared to the pictures on the website.
October 24, 2024Great car should probably be a little bit cheaper but otherwise really good
September 24, 2023The built in turbo is something i love the most
October 31, 2022It was the basic Malibu. But the exterior looks amazing and handles well.
