Already standard in this AWD hatchback are power windows, locks, and mirrors, a CD/MP3 player that's satellite-ready, power and tilt steering, remote entry, and intermittent front and rear wipers. The 2008 SX4 Convenience is powered by a 143-hp, 2.0-liter DOHC I4, with 136 ft-lbs of torque at 3500 RPM. Paired with either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic, fuel economy averages around 22/30 mpg. The three-mode Intelligent AWD system starts out in front-wheel drive, but can be selected for automatic torque distribution. It comes with a rear locking differential.
