The Nissan is overpriced but that’s a sign of the times. The mileage is above 100,000 miles, but other Exterras are going for more. The car runs well, is clean, and has a nice body. Happy with the purchase.

The Off Road trim XTerra is just what I wanted for the room to carry the family as well as be able to leave the pavement without worries of getting stuck or left stranded.

The Last Of The No-nonsense Suv's Available To The Masses. — I loved my 2000 Xterra 3.3l V6. It was RWD but still very capable. The only way I can describe the difference is a more ROBUST feeling throughout the entire car. It is taller and wider than my old 2000, but the 4.0l VQ40 is a very efficient engine however it could have better MPG, I average about 25-27 city and maybe ~30 mpg highway. Everything about the car feels solid, it's heavier than the old one but still relatively light compared to other's in it's class. The cargo space is ample, only a few cubic feet short of a Range Rover! This car is for people who like reliability and charming off road looks and performance. A true classic, bare bones vehicle that deserves to go into the books as one of the last great SUV's of our time. Mine is a Night Armor metallic, which in my opinion is the best color. Very sleek.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Best bang for the buck offroad vehicle, but honestly it can hold it's own against top tier SUV's any day even in low spec, stock form. The overall quality and build materials are superb throughout the drivetrain and chassis. This car is built to last a very long period of time. I have traveled the world and police forces in rugged territory love XTerr'as for their ample cargo space, bulletproof reliability and ease of replacing parts and fixing costs. I must agree.

Cons: Sparse interior as far as luxuries. The seats aren't the greatest quality, they are meant for easy cleaning. The seams tend to break on the outer edges of the fabric. Cover's highly suggested. Sound system is low quality, upgrade/nav also suggested.

Sporty — Great for my family! Safe, reliable, fuel efficient, it's an all around good vehicle that I love. I am sad to see it go but I am looking for a car - something different now that my kids are getting older.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Plenty of room for family and friends, good gas mileage, safety stars!

Cons: I cannot complain, I love this vehicle.

Ill Buy It Again — Off Road Edition. Due to the type of Suspension this vehicle has it is certainly not a Highway Performance SUV. It tends to kick alittle on rough roads at speeds above 60 MPH. Off Road this thing is a fricking monster. I recently took it on a 40 mile expedition In Alaska on the Boarder of Denali State Park. Fording rivers extremely rocky terrain, mud and difficult off road trails. I am extremely impressed with how it handles in Cold weather and Extremely snowy roads.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: GO Everywhere DO Everything

Cons: If you lack adventure and only drive on the highways this is not for you

Great Truck — I love this car. it handles great both on and off road, i took it camping in the mountains this summer and it tore ass up the mountain and made it up every trail i put it infront of. it is a real nice truck for "out of the box" usage on the trails

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Great Off Road Truck

Cons: passengers have trouble getting in back

X — Good SUV for someone who needs one. Decent mileage. No squeeks, rattles or crappy interior parts. Like the rugged looks. Not for someone that likes all the bells and whistles of a luxury car, no heated seats or any of that crap.

Pros: Its not American

Cons: No sunroof available.

Offroad Bulldozer Stays On The Ground. — Just ask Jason T. the acceleration in one of the new xterra is unbelievable. The rear of the vehicle is rubber and is excellent on a offroad trip to just hose out the back of the vehicle. Back seat sits up like stadium seating this is very nice for driving on the parkway or where they need to look out of the vehicle.

Pros: Offroad capabilities and acceleration with a SUV.

Cons: Why cant they just let you come and pick put the car and not have to pay so much.
