No changes were made in the 2007 Honda Ridgeline. This 4-door, 5-passenger pickup carries plenty of cargo and may get as much as 21 miles to the gallon. It is the first truck to have 4 independent suspensions. A robust 3.5-liter, 247-horsepower V6 comes standard with a 5-speed automatic transmission. The Ridgeline ways a half-ton and when properly equipped can tow 5,000 pounds and carry 1500 pounds of cargo. It earned a full five stars on the NHTSA's frontal and side-impact tests and was the first pickup ever to do so. MSRP ranges from $27,000 to $32,000.

I had a 2006 and a 2007. LOVED them both. Wrecked them both. Hate that! I would have driven either for as long as they would last. Lots of room. So comfortable. Leather heated seats. Small bed but the trunk in the bed is a great feature. Both of mine had running boards and moon roofs. Lots of other helpful features. Gas mileage not great but worth it to drive this vehicle. Is everything you want in a car or truck for an active family. Also, the resale value is unbelievable !! although I have no intention to sell mine for a while. You gotta experience it to really sense the greatness of this Honda Technology. Nothing you expect in a truck cause it's ride like a car or SUV.
With other cars I previously owned, there's one good trusted shop we (finally) found due to this and that went wrong.
With Ridgeline, I don't visit the shop anymore. I bet they miss me !
So in short - it's very reliable !
Ask yourself, have you ever seen a Ridgeline behind a tow truck ? I could answer that as "hmmmh, yeah, now that you mention it, I never seen one like ever !"
Really made me wonder how come domestic car makers couldn't make one like Honda?
FYI, My two previous cars were Jeep.
Should I write more ? I think most people want reliable and economical right ? Other knick knacks are nice but those two are the main thing at least for me.
So I'm signing off here by saying, you won't ever regret getting a Ridgeline, trust me!
PS. My husband is a mechanic. His dad used to race fast cars, and he thinks Ridgeline got the acceleration power more than you need. Feb 04, 2014

Rides like a car but with truck capability. interior space is amazing. More than capable off road as long as it isn't a hardcore trail. Will get you where you need to go in comfort. Engine is more than needed and bulletproof.Apr 21, 2013

This is a great truck. I call it and SUT (Sport Utility Truck) because it truly is. It has an amazing amount of storage and is a great family car. Seats 5 comfortably with all the luggage. Great waterproof in bed storage. Handles amazing in all weather rain, snow or sunshine. For an SUT the Ridgeline gets great gas mileage at around 20 MPG, beating the Escalade and Avalanche hands down. My Ridgeline RTX is complete with the towing package so towing is no problem boats, campers dirt bikes you name it. All in all this is a great vehicle.Feb 26, 2013

Overall really like it. 2nd choice would have been a Toyota Tacoma, but wouldn't have ridden as smooth and wouldn't have had the trunk. Wish the sunroof was available without the leather seats. Can't believe they are not going to make them any more.May 21, 2012

I have only had it 3 days but already love it. Roomy and smooth riding. I have admired them since they first came out. After getting my wife an Odyssey and loving that, the Ridgeline seemed logical. Am going to add a tonneau cover and get a sunroof put in. It is a bit dark inside with all of the windows tinted.Sep 26, 2010

Decent power accelerates well. Handles great, very comfortable interior. The interior and exterior has great styling.
gas mileage disappointing.
Built on a Honda Pilot chassis, so too light for a truck. Not a true 4X4.

an awesome vehicle, especially for our Buffalo winters. All
around wonderful traveling vehicle as well. Its been many
places and no a problem with it anywhere. Gas mileage
could be a little better but lets face it... its a truck and I'm
not exactly easy going on the right pedal ;p

If you look at the Honda Ridgeline, you'll notice that it's different right away. The exterior design is bold and vastly different than anything else presetnly on the market. Last week I went to my local Honda dealership for a test-drive and liked what it had to offer.
The power from the 3.5-liter (247-hp) engine was nice, but it was less than what I was used to. The mileage is what really surprised me - only 16 city and 21 highway. That was a shocker coming from Honda. I would've thought they could do better than that! However, I was impressed with some of the other features like the disappearing compartment in the center console and the dual-action tailgate.
The interior was roomy, but felt more like a cockpit to me. It wasn't a bad thing - I just couldn't get used to it during my short trip around the block. Again, the bold lines were brought into the interior giving it a contiguous feel.
Overall, I liked the Ridgeline enough to say that I'd buy one if I could afford $30,000 for a truck. (What are they thinking?!) Alas, I will just have to admire it from afar.Jun 07, 2007
