Reasonable Daily User Decent Space. — super reliable car, car was easy to handle in snow storms driving to work would take a while but the focus could climb those steep hills and survived the winter. the engine was strong and was more powerful than other focuses i drove or rode in. all in all, get rid of the front seats and you have a 4/5 car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: lots of room, can take a beating (live in new england, drove in a lot of snow), good gas mileage. nice sound system.

Cons: little engine, little power. front seats were terrible for your back. ugly car.

Not A Car I Would Own — I purchased this car for a family member, to provide them "transportation". She is okay with this car, as she's had "junks" most of her life. As for me, when I drive it, and maintain it for her, it's NOT the car we should have gotten.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Good fuel economy, not great for a car in this class.
Comfortable front seats and rear leg room, for this class car.

Cons: Poor quality, tinny ride. Harsh steering, and poor rear view visibilty.

American Pie - I Love It — This was an economically driven step down from 09 full size GMC Sierra, so I had low expectations. What a surprise. Since 1964 I've primarily driven pickups and station wagons (non-SUVs) for personal transportation. I compared this Focus to several other small wagons and this beats out Passat, Jetta, Matrix, Subaru, Volvo and most small suvs for overall price vs utility. This moved to the top of my list of legacy small wagons. Passat is my favorite but loses on price and cost of ownership. This Focus has been trouble free for two years (Purchased w/76k, now 87k). I do treat my vehicles to the best tires, brakes, battery, lube and coolant without being asked.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Incredibly solid feel and stable; 27 mpg daily driving, 31 R/T Fl-Me 08/2014; lots of standard pwr conveniences; Drivers seat position/comfort; Interior space

Cons: Rear seats don't fold perfectly flat; Economy class 4 banger noise level

2006 Ford Focus — I love the gas mileage the Focus gets, and there is plenty of leg room in the back seat. It does surprisingly well in the snow too. It is easy to drive and handles solidly. I have no complaints on this Focus.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great little commuter car

Cons: none

Economical, Reliable — I would buy another one and recommend it to others. I'ts not a refined luxury car but I find it more fun to drive. On the highway, it drives smooth at high speeds. But it has a pretty decent amount of interior space for its size. the only mechanical issue I .have had is the CD player quit working twice and now not working.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fuel savings, Reliability, Drivability.

Cons: The wiper connection broke, had to but a $250 piece to fix a $20 broken part.

Great Car Overall — Car has always ran great for me. Good mpg. Handles good in the snow with traction control. Fun car to drive. Nice handling car. Good car for highway driving. Nice to have the heated seats on a cold winter day.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Runs great, good mpg.

Cons: Smaller cargo space then I would have liked.

Great Value. — Loved the ease of driving and safety. Very roomy inside with lots of room in back seats. Huge trunk that can take everything including the kitchen sink. Great brakes, handling and acceleration is excellent for city driving and on the road. Strongly recommend for young family or student.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great family car with good 34 HWY MPG.  Very reliable and comfortable to drive in town or on the highway.  Large trunk.  Better than average acceleration. Can't lose for the price and quality of vehicle at this age.

Cons: Styling.

Its My Kids First, Then My Car, Then My Husky, Then My Ps3 And Of Course After That My Girlfriend — Performance is outstanding, excellent braking and handling. Appearance is very sporty Cost of ownership, i'm not going to lie, it isn't the cheapest of vehicles to own especially out of maintenance plan Fun factor. Its absolutely the car i've had my most fun in!!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: The awesome sound of the engine as it screams through the revs

Cons: Fuel consumption

Great Car To Have Fun With — I love this car because it is basically my toy. It has a lot of power specially after making several upgrades to it. Sometimes I take it out to the track and drive it at high speeds, so far its handling is great, everything about it is great. Not a very good family car, but can be used as one every once in a while when necessary.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: very cool sports ride, fast, great handling, great performance.

Cons: not a great family car.
