The car has everything I wanted on it. The color with the light colored interior is perfect. The low mileage, only 2 owners and no accidents made it the perfect car.

Great Car For A Single Person — One bad ass hot rod,a head turner, corvette with a cadillac body. hard top and 1 button and its a convertible.not a long trip car just take it out on weekends.17 mpg city 25 highway if you can keep you'r foot off it. rides good at 140 mph.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Performance, fun factor,

Cons: travel light

This Car Makes You Feel Like You're Little John Or Something — drove at firestone, it looked awesome in tangerine candy, with chrome rims.

Pros: cool to drive, cool heads up display that projects of the windsheild. good handling.

Cons: i was too tall, i was looking over the windshield the whole time. seems like you are going faster than you are

Nice, But Could Have Been Better... — This car was a car that I loved as soon as I saw it - a few years back I had bought one of their Allante convertibles used and it was fun... so when i had a chance to buy a one year old XLR, I jumped on it... the interior was sweet - looked great and was very comfortable - although if you wanted to really drive it in a spirited way, the seats aren't made for that and you won't stay in them... it had a nice, deep exhaust, so when the top was down, you would have a hard time deciding between listening to the exhaust or turning on the radio! One major issue I had was the retractable hard top... for the summer I owned it, it was in the shop every 2-3 weeks... and it was under warrenty, so no cost, but just a pain - I mean I bought the car to drive and enjoy in the summer and it was spending more time at the dealership...

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: The looks of this car just screams sexy...  and for a luxury convertible, it handles well since on the Corvette platform...

Cons: Had lots of issues with the hard top!

Very stylish inside and out, far more distinctive than its competition from Mercedes or Jaguar. Strong engine, many lux features, including very unusual thermo-electric cooled seats (unlike Mercedes seats, which are only ventilated, not cooled) and Head-Up Display. Could be a bit roomier inside, shows some cheapness in door bins, buttons & switches. Parts availability is a BIG concern for me, as Cadillac is no longer supporting these cars, and very few were made to get used parts from.

Looks/Style Ranked 2006 Jaguar XK-Series XK8 Convertible RWD worse.
"The XLR styling is crisp, modern, and daring. The angular panels and lines are a nice contrast to all the rounded cars out there, and the low wide tail-high stance give it a storng appearance, especially with the wide rear tires on the V variants. The interior is similarly crisp. The gauges have a rich depth of layering. The XK dimensions and proportions are almost identical to the XLRs, but the styling is much more subdued. The most striking line, the curve over the rear fender, seems too short. The taillights are an odd shape that doesnt seem to have anything to do with the car, and the taper at the end of the trunk makes the car look less muscular than it should. To illustrate, the similarly shaped F-Type is much more striking, because the lines are bolder, the rear fender line higher and wider, the lights more dramatic, etc. "
