The 2006 Buick Lucerne CXS is a powerful full-size sedan, packed with loads of standard features that you won't find on the other trims. One of these is magnetic ride control that, combined with standard StabiliTrak, helps smooth the ride out even more. The 2006 Lucerne CXS is the first Buick to offer MRC. It shares the 4.6-liter, 275-hp V8 engine and 4-speed automatic with the CXL V8, but the CXS has larger 18-inch alloy wheels. ABS brakes, a tire monitor, fog lights, crash sensor, security system, traction control, and dual front-side and curtain bags are standard.
Though the CXL was already luxurious in terms of power features, wood and leather trim, OnStar, garage opener, MP3 playback, and cruise control. the 2006 Lucerne CXS adds 8-way power front seats, driver's memory settings, satellite radio, an upgraded audio system, a trip computer, and a heated steering wheel. Upgraded leather upholstery is also a feature of the CXS. Available options include heated and cooled seats, heated washer fluid, parking sensors, a sunroof, remote start, and a CD changer. Lots of room and comfort, extra power, and an unbelievably quiet ride are highlights for owners of the 2006 Lucerne CXS. Low points include a poorly lit dash during the day, gas mileage, and blind spots.
