The 2006 Aston Martin V8 Vantage is a front-engined, rear-wheel-drive, two-door hatchback sports car that many consider a competitor to the Porsche 911. The V8 Vantage is powered by a 4.3-liter V8 engine that produces 380 horsepower. The engine is linked to a six-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Top speed is 175 miles per hour.
The V8 Vantage is equipped with such features as antilock Brembo disc brakes, traction control, electronic stability control, and 18-inch alloy wheels. 19-inch wheels are available as an option.
Interior features include hand-stitched leather seats and a leather dashboard, an aluminum instrument panel with three-dimensional gauges, an organic electroluminescent (OEL) central message display, a glass starter button, 10-way power-adjustable front seats, a premium stereo system with a six-disc CD changer, and automatic climate control.
