Reliable, gas Saver — The Solara was a sporty luxury car that I used to zip around town as well as take long trips for two. The 4 cylinder engine provided gas saving at 27 average on highway to 31 miles per gallon. In knew I had to buy something that would last me and this car made it possible. Great 6 in-dash JBL Premium sound system with radio, cassette and Satellite radio. In the winter the seats are heated for extra comfort and the heater was rarely used. The AC blows freezing cold air for those hot summer days stuck in traffic. Would recommend this car to anyone who needs a relaible gas saving car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Gas Saver,Sporty Comfort,Peppy,Reliable,Low Maintenance,Freat Value for a Coupe

Cons: Coupe

Love Driving This Car. — Great car to drive. It is fun to drive. Great sound system. Adequate seating and storage which is unusable for convertible. Good gas mileage. Very reliable. Very little maintenance needed other than normal maintenance. Slight wear on top but nop leaks.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Four passengers can comfortably ride in car.  Excellent truck space.

Cons: Visibility out back window.

Toyota Solara — Vehicle was purchased in Miami, Florida, from a dealer with only one previous owner prior to me. Car has been garage kept, excellent paint, interior is gorgeous, and gas mileage is amazing! Handles fantastic, and extremely comfortable for road trips, plenty of leg room, even for back seat passengers.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Excellent economical car with looks and style! Great gas mileage!

Cons: Passenger is unable to use GPS while car is in motion (Factory safety)

Perfect Car For My Wife. — Looks great and my wife loves to drive it. She plans on keeping it forever. Especially since they no longer make it. Smooth transmission. Quick enough and even faster if you put in premium or mid-grade fuel. Paddle shifting the floor shifter is kind of fun for a couple of minutes. Cheap seat fabric on the SE. Carpet is thin too. Dash no longer gets any Armor All because the shine reflects off of the steeply raked windshield.

Pros: My wife wanted a convertible and I wanted reliability. This car was the best of both. Plus it had room for 4-people when needed. More room than the Mustang Convertible we tested. More reliable than the Saab 9-3 we looked at.

Cons: Cheap carpet. 6-cylinder is 3.3L and had it been upgraded with the rest of the Camry line, it would have had the 3.5L engine and not needed timing belt replacement at 90K miles. The tall rear makes seeing out about the same as most convertibles. Which means it could be better. This is the last version of the Camry Solara convertible. Production ended after the 07' model year.

My Beautiful Baby!!! — While I love my Sexy Solara I've been having problems with the battery. Everything else is great!! Look at her...now you want one don't you?! In this you can handle any curve like a pro!

Pros: Stylish curves and contours...comfy and contemporary interior. Beautiful wood grain selection!

Cons: Battery is garbage...but to be fair, the issues began recently.  First couple of years were greeeat! How long is a battery supposed to last anyway? :o/

My Comfortable 5spd Coupe — The interior of the car has a lot of space for a coupe, seats are comfortable even though they are not leather, and all controls are placed well for the driver. The outside of the car is in Lunar Mist Metallic with 16" alloy wheels. Performance is good for an inline-4, especially with the help of a manual. I rated performance slightly lower since there are obviously much more powerful cars than this. Overall, its a great car, great on gas with the combo of a 4cylinder and manual, comfortable sport tuned suspension.

Pros: 5SPD manual, alloy wheels, nice interior, coupe

Cons: rims could be bigger, no sunroof on my model
